Cosmetic Procedure for Pan-Asian Faces

Beautiphi nurses are very experienced practitioners in appearance medicine for the Pan-Asian community. Common cosmetic procedures for Pan-Asian men and women include reshaping noses, chins, foreheads, thinning faces, slimming calves and acne treatments.
Noses
As a Pan-Asian client, you may come to us to have your nose reshaped. If your nose is crooked or has an unattractive hump, or you would like a slimmer nose or a higher bridge, then visit us for a free consultation.
A procedure called nonsurgical rhinoplasty can change the shape of your nose so it appears straight with no unsightly lumps. This is achieved with dermal filler all within your lunch hour.
Chins
We have many Pan-Asian clients often looking to enhance their chins so it is more pointed, which results in the face obtaining a heart shape.
Beautiphi nurses can reshape your chin by redefining your jowl line. We use a dermal filler to achieve a sharper jowl line and a longer face. This treatment can be achieved within an hour.
Acne Scarring
At Beautiphi we have a variety of treatments that treat acne. One of the side effects for Pan-Asian skins with acne is a pigmenting effect on the skin tone. Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP, a treatment that uses your own blood, is an effective treatment for acne and pigmentation (provided you do not have severe scarring).
If you do suffer from pigmentation, PRP, followed by a course of peels and dermal needling treatments, will improve your skin tone, giving it a consistent, natural skin colour. Using these treatments in combination can be very effective.
A series of peels, microdermabrasion, DEESSE Mask or Heallite 2 and derma pen are all treatments that will reduce the inflammation and alleviate the acne scarring, alongside excellent skincare on a daily basis.

Thinning of the face
At Beautiphi we can change the shape of your face and make it more elongated by using Botox® or Dysport® on the muscles at the jawline. These muscles can sometimes be enlarged, causing the facial shape to look square. We often get requests from Pan-Asian clients for this treatment due to some Pan-Asian clients having a round or square face and a strong masseter muscle.
Botox® will cause some shrinkage of the muscle and narrow the jaw, creating a more angular and feminine facial shape. This effect can be further enhanced by filling the cheek area with facial fillers. The result is a thinner looking face. We use a combination of Dysport® (botulinum toxin type A) and dermal filler to achieve this. Every patient’s requirements are different, so please speak to a Beautiphi nurse before opting for this treatment.
Calves
Dysport® (botulinum toxin type A) can help Pan-Asian women achieve slender calves. By injecting Dysport® into the calf muscles, it will cause the muscle to atrophy and shrink – resulting in a more slender calf muscle.

Cheeks
Pan-Asian cheeks can appear flat and clients come to us seeking a forward projection in the cheek to create a love heart-shaped face.
If you are keen to look like the stunning Hong Kong model Angela Baby, Beautiphi nurses have a variety of treatments to reshape the cheeks and replenish and enhance you. We can achieve a smoother looking cheek with Dysport® and dermal filler.
Forehead enhancement
As a Pan-Asian client, you may want to reshape your forehead if you have a noticeable dip in your forehead, or if you want a more curved shape. The result is a smooth forehead, which in some Pan-Asian cultures is seen as a sign of wealth.
Pan-Asian customers often request a prominent forehead. We are able to achieve this by lifting the forehead which also lifts the eyebrow. Beautiphi nurses use hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and get very good results.
Pigmentation
Pan-Asian skins can suffer from pigmentation. Any form of hyperpigmentation will be worsened, sometimes significantly, by sun exposure.
Therefore the best option to control pigment is a physical block sunscreen which usually contains zinc.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is effective for decreasing pigment around the eyes. PRP is a treatment for all over the face, however, people have reported excellent results when using it around the eyes.
The new dermal filler Redensity 2 has special whitening ingredients which can enhance the effect of decreasing pigment, noted especially for around the eyes, and we are the first to use it in New Zealand.
Darker skin tones can also benefit from PRP, dermal rolling and the XCell Super Jessner peel.
